Maximum Aerobic Capacity Testing / Conconi Testing.

A power profile test assesses whether you are adapting positively to the training (getting stronger).  Your first power profile test gives you a baseline of what power you can achieve for each effort.  Subsequent tests allow you to assess your improvement.  Many athletes find it motivating to be tested regularly as a way of measuring your fitness and strength advancement.  We recommend that competitive and elite athletes get tested approximately every 6-8 weeks, which can be integrated with your racing and training workload schedule.

Physiologic testing in the lab is the best way to determine your strengths and limiters relevant to racing on the Road in Triathlon or Cyclocross. Aerobic Capacity Testing will help you determine your ideal pace, power, and HR (Heart Rate) zones.

Testing takes about 90 min and will be performed in a safe atmosphere under the guidance and encouragement of a coach. Tests are performed at Cyclewise Coaching in Brooklyn. Shower facilities are available.
